Important note for Affiliates:
- Only 'in-session' transactions are commissionable, we do not use cookie tracking currently. Bookings made in ALL countries are commissionable.
- Commission will be paid out within 60 days after check out of the guest of such Booking.com reservation.

“Materialised Transaction” means a reservation enabled by Booking.com that has resulted in the actual provision of accommodation (as confirmed to Booking.com by the supplier of the accommodation) and receipt by Booking.com of commission from that supplier. It excludes fraudulent reservations, which is a reservation: (a) which was made for the purpose of deriving benefit other than the standard benefit offered by the accommodation supplier (typically the use of a hotel room, vehicle or other travel related service or amenity); (b) which was made as a result of Partner’s breach of these terms; (c) for which an invalid, stolen or otherwise unauthorised credit card or payment information has been used; or (d) for which a card holder fraudulently initiated a chargeback.

Prohibited SEM Display URL Content
- Publishers can only use the brand terms in the sub-domain of their SEM display URLs
Limited Use SEM Display URL Content
- The Publisher agrees and warrants that it shall not conduct, undertake, use, perform :1. any activity to unfairly influence the results of Third Party Platforms, or 2. any other form of online targeted advertising (whether directly, indirectly, or via or through Third Party Platforms) in respect of: (i) the Booking.com Platform; (ii) the Booking.com Data; (iii) the Booking.com Brands; (iv) the Accommodation Brands (unless the owner of such Accommodation Brand has given its prior written consent to the Publisher for the use of that specific Accommodation Brand).

Special Instructions for Search Marketing Publishers
- The Publisher shall avoid all forms of trickery when promoting and marketing the Booking.com Platform. If the Publisher is perceived to be jeopardising Booking.com’s own position, brand or goodwill in/on Third Party Platform or elsewhere, through any underhand promotional or marketing techniques, the Publisher shall upon first request of Booking.com cease and desist such activities. If Booking.com (Platform) is detrimentally linked to promotional or marketing activity by the Publisher (Platform), the Publisher agrees to promptly comply with the reasonable requests of Booking.com to remedy. During any remedial period Booking.com shall be entitled to postpone its obligations or immediately terminate its agreement. Ad hijacking of Booking.com’s PPC ads or direct linking to Booking.com is strictly prohibited, any publisher who is conducting this activity will be immediately blacklisted and all commissions reversed. All publishers must provide content that is of value and beneficial to the customer and shouldn’t use PPC as a redirect. Publishers should refrain from creating PPC ads that either contain the Booking.com URL and should not click through to the Booking.com ad or redirect to Booking.com.
Website Policies
Prohibited Website Domain Keywords
- The Publisher shall not (directly or indirectly) register, acquire or obtain Internet domain name(s) which incorporates any word or words which are identical, or confusingly or substantially similar to "Booking", "Bookings'' or any variations, translations or misspellings thereof, included as part of the address. In the event that the Publisher has or uses a (domain or application) name (confusingly) similar to the Booking.com Brands (the "Similar Name") for the Publisher Platform(s), the following applies. The Publisher shall not, directly or indirectly: (a) bid on or purchase internet placement rights for the Similar Name or any part or similarities thereof in any manner in any of its advertising or marketing. (b) drive traffic to the Similar Name through the use of translation or misspelling variants of the (domain/app) name, whether done through use of metadata (tags, titles, descriptions) or keyword bidding.

Unacceptable Web Sites
- Booking.com does not allow advertisement on third-party platforms (like search engines, meta-comparison websites etc.) that are in any way connected to our affiliate product.
Moreover, Booking.com does not allow advertisement and/or a link to our affiliate product on the below avoidance categories as listed by the IAB:
- Adult content, facilitation of illegal activities, controversial subjects, copyright infringement, controlled substances (alcohol and drugs), extreme graphics/explicit violence, incentivised manipulation of measurements, hate/profanity, nuisance/spyware/malware/wares, political/religion, unmoderated user generated content.
Additional Promotional Method Policies
Incentivized Traffic - Allowed
- If you would like to promote Booking.com through an incentive site, please get in touch so that we can review your application. Booking.com allows cashback activity only after internal review and approval. Coupons are not allowed.
Software - Not allowed
- Toolbars, browser extensions and similar, are not permitted.
Sub-Affiliates - Not allowed
- Only permitted with approval from Bookng.com and CJ Affiliate Team. Booking.com holds the publisher and sub-network to account for the good behaviour of their trusted networks of sites, and where sites are consistently flaunting the above mentioned rules we reserve the right to terminate the relationship with the publisher as a whole and suspend any commission payouts.
Additionally, these publishers need to be compliant with transparency requirements (to be able to identify traffic origin, see performance at URLs level (preferably through a dashboard)), and to be able to do regular & ongoing content/URLs audits.
Social Media - Not allowed
- Individual publishers with only social media accounts and no other websites are not allowed on the programme.


Special Instructions
- Please be aware that Booking.com does not provide voucher codes to customers. Any publisher that is found to be listing vouchers offering a discount from Booking.com will have their commission reversed for those transactions, and will be removed from the programme. For any reservations booked on or through the Service for which Booking.com does not receive commission, including but not limited to special negotiated or non-publicity rates (e.g. corporate rates, Early Payment Benefit, Booking Basic), the Affiliate agree and acknowledge that such reservations shall : 1. Not be subject to or included in the calculation of the commission (percentage) 2. Not be made available in the reservation process of the affiliate.
Important Notice: Until further notice, due to the war taking place in Ukraine, no Russian or Belarusian publishers may be accepted onto, or be active on, the Booking.com affiliate network program.
Please note that whilst all offerings of Booking.com are tracked (Accommodations, Attractions, Car Rental, Flights, Rides), commission will ONLY be paid for accommodation reservations, so commission for all other products WILL NOT receive commission.
Please note: If any of the above policies are violated, Booking.com reserves the right to ask networks to close down the publisher and mark the publisher ‘fraudulent’ and reject all bookings from them (meaning no commission will be paid for bookings from the publisher).
